In our region are top spots for Snowboarders
:
- Galsterbergalm - with its many possibilities for freeriding
- Hochwurzen - with its Snowboard park next to the bottom run
- Dachstein glacier - with its fun park
- Hauser Kaibling – also here there are many great possibilities
with the board,
next to the top station.
Galsterbergalm
As it is not as busy on the "Galsterbergalm"
snowboarders also have a lot of possibilities on the open piste.
There is no real snowboard scene, but the insiders know where to go.
You will also see this straight away.
The Galsterbergalm is also – ideal for beginner boarders
with its natural snow and uncrowded pistes.
The best turns to be found to the left of
the chairlift on the Galsterbergalm,
or, if you walk up to the Pleschnitzzinken (20minutes),
there is nothing to beat it in the whole region. Please
note any avalanche warnings!
BA special treat in March and April is the corn snow – just amazing
- it’s the best by far!
Dachstein Glacier
The snowboard park on the Dachstein glacier with its halfpipe is the best
of its kind in the region.
In the winter there is a smaler version
