A sunrise
is intoxicatingly beautiful - if only one did not have to get up so early for it!
In summer – we have the possibility to take a sunrise breakfast in the early hours of a Thursday – with the Dachstein glacier cable car to the mountain tops. This is the easiest way to the Dachsteinglacier.

Alternative – with the car up the Stoderzinken in Gröbming. 

The Dachstein
can be observed from many angles. It is, however, always a wonder of nature of the special kind. With good bodily fitness – we recommend the round trip
Bachlalm (Alm with marmots) via the “Tor” (gateway) "Tor" to the Südwandhütte. and back to the   Bachlalm. walk –
approx. 6 hours

Alternative – by car or bus to the Türlwandhütte and a walk to the Südwandhütte.
Duration each way – 1 hour. 

The Stoderzinken
One of the best viewing points in the Ennstal.
take the car up the mountain road. From the car park we take an approx. 90 minute walk to the peak. Leichte An easy walk. Just 1-2 height increases.
The short route to the small chapel called the Friedenskirchlein (peace church) is also worth while.

The Galsterbergalm
From Pruggern by car to Bottinghaus. From here approx. 90 minutes walk to the Pleschnitzzinken. We recommend you go first in direction Kalteck and then up. This way, on the the return, you always have a super view of the Dachstein region.
A refreshment break in the Galsterberghut is well worth it.
Especially to be recommended here is the :  goat’s cheese and the Kaiserschmarren (local thick chopped pancake speciality.


Almrausch (The alm rose)
The main flowering time for this flower is between mid June and the   beginning of July – depending on how soon the snow melts.
